Our Return Policy for Jewelry

YES, we take returns! and no return authorization is required.

All returned items must be purchased within the past 30 days, be in new condition and cannot show visible signs of wear or be altered in any way. For your protection, we highly suggest shipping items in a box and include insurance for the full purchase amount, especially on higher priced items.

All custom and engraved items are warranted for 30 days against manufacturing defects, but they are not returnable otherwise.

Our Return Policy for Watches

Watches are subject to a very strict 30 day, must be returned in new unused condition, with all paperwork and original packaging. If a watch is worn, there are indentations in the leather or fabric band it is considered used and can no longer be returned. After that time, used, damaged or defective watches must be directed to the manufacturer’s service center for repair or replacement.

Return FAQ's

What if I want an Exchange?
We have 2 exchange options:

  1. To get your new item quickly, place a new order for the new item and send back the original item for a refund.
  2. Alternatively, send back your original order and we will email you a payment invoice for any price difference for your new item.

How long does it take to get my refund?
Refunds are issued back to the original form of payment within 5-7 business days of receipt.

Do you have a restocking fee?
If you would like to return an item after 30 days or after January 15th (for orders placed between November 15th and December 15th), a return authorization is required. If a late return is accepted, a 20% restocking fee may be deducted from your purchase price.

What if I want to order early for a Holiday?
If you order after November 15th, you have until January 15th of the following year to return your item.

What if I received this as a gift? 
All credit card companies require we refund the purchaser oryou may choose a merchandise credit to be used on a future purchase.

It looks like my order will not arrive on time, what happened? 
If for some reason we cannot ship your order on-time, we will notify you immediately. In most late delivery cases, we are finding that UPS and USPS are having delays due to Covid-19, severe weather, natural disasters and other conditions that are beyond our control. In those cases, please be aware that we cannot guarantee overnight delivery.

Pay with a Credit Card

We gladly accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB cards for orders up to $2000. High-value orders may be required to ship to your billing address.

Pay with PayPal

Paypal is also available and required for orders over $2000. Paypal also offers free financing on your purchase for up to 6 months. To use Paypal Credit for your purchase, just check out using PayPal. When asked to choose a payment method (i.e. bank account, credit card, debit card) choose PayPal Credit. If you have previously signed up, then there is nothing left to do. If not, you will be asked to fill out an application. Visit https://www.paypal.com/credit for more details.

Pay with Amazon Pay

Amazon Pay is also available and can be used for orders over $2000. If you are already an Amazon customer, you can use your Amazon login to pay for your purchase without having to re-enter your payment information and keeps your payment information private from us. Amazon Pay is free to use.

Pay with Apple Pay

If you happen to be on an enabled device, our site will allow you to use Apple Pay to complete your purchase. Just choose Apple Pay as your checkout option. Apple Pay is free to use. Visit https://www.apple.com/apple-pay for more details about Apple Pay.

Pay with a Check or Money Order

If you decide to send in a check or money order, please allow an additional 15 business days for check processing. Send your check and the item you would like to order to:

Pay with a Visa or MasterCard Gift Card

If you decide to use a Visa (or Mastercard) gift card, you will need to set up the card with Visa (or Mastercard). There are usually instructions on the back of the gift card that will instruct you to call Visa and set up the card in your name and billing address. Once you do that, Visa will update the information (usually within 24 hours) and your gift card will be usable on our website.

How to use a Black Bow Gift Certificate

At checkout, enter 'Gift Certificate' for payment method. At the bottom of that same section, enter your gift certificate code (the number issued to you on your certificate). If your purchase exceeds the value of your gift certificate, you will be prompted for another form of payment to cover the remaining balance, this can include another credit card or another gift certificate. If your purchase does not exceed the value of your gift certificate, your remaining balance will remain on your account to use any time you wish. Black Bow gift certificates do not expire. Outstanding gift card balances cannot be refunded and any site sales or discounts cannot be applied to the purchase of a gift certificate since your gift recipient may take advantage of sales and promotions at the time of their purchase. You might be tempted to give what we sent you to your loved one without looking at it first...PLEASE DON'T! Jewelry is very personal and we want you and your giftee to really love what you ordered. That means we need some help from you. Please untie that beautiful ribbon and conduct a very thorough inspection of what we sent you. This will ensure you love what you purchased and that it works well for you. In the rare case there is an issue, we can fix it before the big day. So, take a quick peek and make sure everything is perfect!

100% Price Match Guarantee

If you find an identical item for less, within 30 days of the time you purchased from us, we will gladly refund you the difference. This policy does not apply to closeout, like-new, used or auction items. We reserve the right to look at the comparable item and confirm that it is indeed the same item. In many cases, items can be made to look similar, but not be identical. Characteristics like metal weight, gemstone type, gemstone cut, gemstone color, and gemstone weight will greatly influence the price of an item. Shipping not included.
