Black Bow Jewelry Company was founded in 2008, but our roots in the jewelry business go back much further.
Jewelry has been part of our family for decades. Both of my parents worked in the jewelry business, and I grew up around it. When my mother became a single parent, I started helping her sell jewelry at fairs and festivals throughout Northern Ohio. I was just 13 years old.
Those early years taught me the jewelry business from the ground up — not just the products themselves, but what people look for when they're choosing something personal. I learned the importance of quality, value and earning a customer's trust, often one conversation and one sale at a time.
Years later, those experiences became part of the foundation for Black Bow Jewelry Company.
We started Black Bow in 2008 with the idea that the internet could give customers something a traditional jewelry store couldn't: an extraordinary selection combined with detailed information that makes it easier to find exactly the right piece.
Today, our collection includes thousands of styles in sterling silver, gold, platinum, diamonds, gemstones and more, including officially licensed collegiate, MLB, NHL and sorority jewelry.
A lot has changed since those days selling jewelry at fairs and festivals in Northern Ohio. What hasn't changed is the way we think about the business. We're still a family company, we still care about the jewelry we sell, and we still believe that earning a customer's trust matters.
